Using our Content Management System to update your website is easy, fun, and a huge cost saver! Here's how it works:
Our CMS opens your web page as a WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editor, very similar to the MS Word, WordPerfect, or other popular word processors that people use for typing on the computer these days. So, if you can type letters on your computer, you'll have no problem updating your website, and even adding pages to it, if you want to!
Still, there may be some new things when you start editing web pages, like creating links to other pages, inserting images, etc. This is why we have created this CMS guide, and a CMS demo to help you get absolutely ready before you start to update your site.
When you are ready to learn the CMS, do the following:
1- Click on the CMS Guide link. It will open the guide as a pop up for you.
2- Click on the CMS Demo link. A demo version of our website will open in the "normal" mode, which is the way visitors will see it. To open the Site Editor, click on the Login link found in the lower right column. In the little access authorization window, enter "admin" for user name, and "test" for password. The online editor will open for you (the first time you open it, it may take a bit longer to open). Don't worry about messing up that site, it is not our real site. It is there for people to try and mess with it, and it is reverted to its original form on a daily basis.
3- With the CMS Guide window open for your reference, try to do all the changes that you desire on this demo site to learn and feel comfortable about this editing environment.
